What fits under a 20x30

The extra 200 square feet over a 20x20 is roughly one dance floor, or a bar plus a buffet line. That is usually what makes a 20x30 the right call rather than the smaller size.

Which series to choose

Frame tents are clear-span. At 20x30 a centre pole sits directly in the middle of your usable floor, which is why frame is the default for weddings and anything with a head table or stage.

Pole tents cost less for the same coverage and look the part in photographs. Good for open catering areas and receptions where the centre is circulation rather than seating.

High peak and gable add height and a more architectural profile while staying clear-span.

If this tent is going into a rental fleet rather than a single property, weigh frame gauge over price — the install-and-strike cycle is what wears equipment, not the events themselves.

What to order with it

Sidewalls for weather and for turning the canopy into a room — note they increase wind load, so anchor for the configuration you install. Dance floors are what most 20x30 buyers are making room for. Heaters and cooling extend the months it can work.
