"Seller" is Beyond Tent, a Florida LLC. "Buyer" is the person, company or entity purchasing the product(s) or device(s) by this order.
By purchasing with us you agree to these terms and conditions.
AGREEMENT TO TERMS By placing an order with Beyond Tent (βMerchantβ), the Customer (βCardholderβ) agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding contract between the Merchant and the Customer.
Returns
Strict Adherence Required: To protect the quality of our equipment, all returns and cancellations are subject to the following strict guidelines. Failure to follow these steps will result in the denial of any refund or credit claim.
β’β Authorization Required (RMA): No returns will be accepted without a valid Return Authorization Number (RMA). The Customer must contact Customer Service to request an RMA.
β’β β Unauthorized Returns: Items returned without an RMA, or packages refused upon delivery without prior authorization, will be rejected. No credit or refund will be issued for unauthorized returns.
β’β β Restocking Fee: All approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and the Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
β’β β Condition of Returns: Items must be returned in new, unused condition in original packaging. If the product is returned damaged, dirty, or missing parts, no credit will be issued.
Usage Constitutes Acceptance
IMPORTANT: Under no circumstances will a return or exchange be approved for products that have been used, set up, or utilized for an event.
β’β β Usage Voiding Return Rights: The act of setting up the tent or equipment, or using it for an event, constitutes full acceptance of the merchandise.
β’β β No "Rentals" via Purchase: We do not offer rental services. Purchasing an item, using it for a single event, and attempting to return it ("friendly fraud") is a violation of these terms and will be contested to the fullest extent using Visa Dispute Resolution guidelines.
We accept returns within 15 days of equipment delivered. All returns must first be authorized and given a Return Authorization Number. Equipment must be in new and unused condition. Customer will be responsible for return shipping costs. If used equipment is returned, there will be additional fees and possibly no refund given.
All approved returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, in their original box, and must include all packing material, manuals, and all accessories. You are responsible for any damages to the returned product while in your possession and/or during return shipping. The return is subject to change due to the condition of product once returned to us. If the product is deemed not able to be restocked, the customer will be responsible for providing a shipping account number to have product returned to them, or product will be discarded and no credit will be issued.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return and items never approved for return will not be accepted and no credit will be given. Refusal of an order upon delivery will result in a 30% restocking fee and any related shipping costs deducted from the original purchase amount. Approved items that are sent back to us will incur a 30% restocking fee and any related shipping costs if not in original new condition.
Shipping Error/Defect
Returns are accepted if there is a shipping error or manufacturers defect. Please notify us of any error or defect within 72 hours of your purchase so we can help you. Defective items may be repaired, exchanged, or refunded at our discretion for the same or equivalent product.
Damages
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 72 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please take detailed photos and submit them via email with your order number in the subject line.
β’β β Reporting Window: All claims for shortages, defects, or damages must be reported to Beyond Tent in writing within 72 hours of receipt.
β’β β Freight/Shipping Damage: The Customer must inspect the shipment while the driver is present. Any visible damage to the packaging must be noted on the delivery receipt/Bill of Lading. If concealed damage is found, it must be reported within 48 hours.
β’β β Customer-Caused Damage: Beyond Tent is not liable for damage occurring during setup, installation, or takedown.
β¦ Specific Warning: Vinyl tent tops and inflatables are susceptible to pinholes and abrasion if dragged on concrete or mishandled during setup. Damage consistent with external abrasion or misuse is not a manufacturing defect and is not eligible for return or refund.
Liability and "Blind Ship" Orders
For orders shipped directly from the manufacturer, Beyond Tent acts as the authorized reseller.
β’β β Manufacturer verification: In the event of a quality dispute, Beyond Tent reserves the right to submit the product for expert engineering review by the manufacturer. The manufacturerβs finding regarding the cause of damage (e.g., manufacturing defect vs. user abrasion) shall be considered final.
Refund Policy
β’β β Store Credit: Any approved refunds for non-defective returns may be issued as Store Credit only, at the Merchant's discretion.
β’β β Processing Time: Refunds or credits are processed only after the item has been received and inspected at our warehouse. We do not issue "advance" refunds.
No Returns or Exchanges are Accepted on the Following:
-We do not accept returns in the case of buyers remorse or if you decide you no longer need or like the equipment. Please be sure to thoroughly read through product listings and give us a call to make sure you are getting the right equipment for your needs.
-The customer is solely responsible for any damages made to the merchandise during setup and take down and under no circumstance is the company liable to replace or refund any merchandise that is damaged by the customer during setup, takedown or any other installation or transportation procedure.
-Under no circumstances will a return or exchange be approved for products purchased for an event, used, and then returned afterwards.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
-Products manufactured to a specific or non-standard size
-Products manufactured to a specific color
-Custom printed products
-Products purchased for an event, used, and then returned afterwards
Cancellations
Once an order has reached the warehouse to be packed and shipped or it has been placed in line to be manufactured (ie. custom designs), customers must follow the returns process. Generally, this happens within 24 hours after placing your order. If your order is not cancelled within the window of time and has not been shipped, there will be a 3% processing fee that will be deducted from your total refund amount. If you have made an order in error, please contact us immediately. Our warehouse prepares most in stock orders to be shipped the same day. If you wish to cancel an order and it has already reached the warehouse to be packed and shipped, you will be guided to follow our returns process as stated above.
Chargeback Policy
We take chargebacks seriously and actively dispute any chargeback that does not follow our stated policies.
By completing a purchase with us, the customer agrees to first contact our team to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback with their bank. Chargebacks filed without attempting to resolve the matter directly may be considered a breach of our terms.
Chargebacks may be disputed when:
- The product or service was delivered, picked up, or used.
-The customer failed to follow our return, cancellation, or refund policies.
-The chargeback is filed after an event has taken place.
-The customer remains in possession of the merchandise.
-The chargeback reason does not align with the facts of the transaction.
By completing this purchase, the Customer acknowledges that filing a chargeback for "Cancelled Merchandise" (Visa Condition 13.7) or "Not as Described" (Visa Condition 13.3) is invalid if:
1.β β The Customer failed to obtain an RMA number.
2.β β The Customer is still in possession of the merchandise.
3.β β The Customer has admitted to using the merchandise (e.g., for an event).
4.β β The damage was caused by Customer mishandling during setup.
If a customer wins a chargeback under false, misleading, or incomplete information, this does not eliminate the financial obligation owed to our company. A bankβs decision does not determine the validity of the debt.
We reserve the right to pursue recovery of any outstanding balance through lawful means, including but not limited to small claims court, civil action, and/or submitting the debt to a collections agency. The customer may also be responsible for any associated recovery fees, court costs, or administrative expenses as permitted by law.
We reserve the right to provide documentation to financial institutions or third parties, including invoices, contracts, delivery confirmations, messages, photos, and policy acknowledgments.
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks (βfriendly fraudβ) may result in account restrictions, denial of future service, and recovery of associated fees.
