Standard Base Plate for West Coast Style Frame Tents
Beyond Tent's technical team stocks this standard base plate as a direct replacement fitting for Classic Series and Gable Series frame tent systems. It connects to the bottom of the leg tubing, giving each leg a stable footing that spreads the tent's downward load instead of letting it concentrate at a single point of contact with the ground.

Why the Base Connection Matters
Every leg in a frame tent system transfers the full weight of that section into the ground through its base plate. A missing or worn base plate lets leg tubing shift, sink into soft ground, or walk out of alignment during setup and through the life of an event — especially on grass or uneven surfaces. Swapping in a fresh base plate restores a solid, level footing at that leg before it becomes a bigger stability issue.

Installation Notes from Our Install Crews
Set the base plate on as level a surface as you can before sliding the leg tube over its protrusion — shimming after the fact is a lot harder once the frame is under load. Pin the leg to the plate before moving to the next section, and hold off on stake driving or ballasting until every base plate in the run is seated and pinned.
