Clipping in with carabiners at both ends, this 18' cable pulls the peak tight across a longer run so the top doesn't sag into a low spot that collects rainwater.

Because this is a longer run, tension it gradually and evenly from both ends rather than pulling one side tight first — that keeps the frame square as the cable takes up load. Recheck it once the top is fully laced, since fabric settles slightly under full tension.
