Skip to contentBeyond Tent's technical team stocks this 2' adjustable base plate as a purpose-built extension fitting for West Coast style frame tent legs. Swap it in for a standard base plate on any leg that needs extra eave height, or use it to level out a leg on uneven or sloped ground without shimming or digging.
Fits standard West Coast style frames from most major manufacturers.
Ground is rarely perfectly flat across an entire tent footprint, and eave height requirements change from one event to the next. Rather than swapping tube sections or building up the ground under a leg, this base plate slides directly into a standard 2" OD frame tube and adds a fixed 2' of extension at that leg — a faster, more repeatable fix for crews setting up on grass, gravel, or asphalt.

Slide the base plate's protrusion fully into the leg tube before pinning — a partial seat is the most common cause of a wobbly corner. If you're using it to level a leg rather than gain eave height, dry-fit it on the low corner first and walk the roofline before pinning every leg, so the whole frame comes up level together instead of fighting itself at the ridge.
