Frontier Gas Powered Trackless Train β€” Commercial-Grade Locomotive Ride for Rental Fleets & Venues

The Frontier Gas Powered Trackless Train (Model GS 22-24) is a commercial-grade, low-speed locomotive ride built for party rental businesses, amusement parks, family entertainment centers, and community events. Every train is powered by a 22-24 HP twin-cylinder gasoline engine with a heavy-duty hydrostatic transmission, delivering smooth, tool-free starts and precise foot-pedal speed control up to a safe, factory-governed 5.2 mph.

This Select Package includes (1) Locomotive, (1) Coal Tender, and (2) Passenger Cars β€” enough to seat up to 12 riders per trip across the tender and cars combined, at 550 lbs per car. Locomotive and car colors are fully customizable, and the train ships built and tested in the USA.

Key Features

  • 22-24 HP Twin-Cylinder Gasoline Engine: Commercial-grade power with key-turn electric start and a heavy-duty hydrostatic transmission for smooth, controlled acceleration.

  • 5.2 MPH Factory-Governed Top Speed: Ground speed is capped for passenger safety while still delivering enough pulling power for a fully loaded train.

  • 9-Foot Turning Radius: Independent 2-wheel steering on every car lets the train track tight, winding event paths without drifting.

  • Seat-Pressure Safety Interlock: The engine automatically shuts off if the operator leaves the seat without setting the parking brake β€” a built-in safeguard against rollaways.

  • Secure Fork & Tongue Coupling: Every car connects with a 3/8" locking safety pin to prevent runaway carriages.

  • Immersive Ride Accessories: Electronic steam whistle with three tone lengths, optional glycol-based smoke system, optional PA intercom with car speakers and handheld microphone, and a 12V headlamp for twilight rides.

  • Full Customization: Choose locomotive and car color combinations, add custom decals or graphics, and select optional add-ons to match your brand or venue theme.

Perfect for a Variety of Applications

  • Trackless Train Rental Businesses: Build a recurring revenue stream renting the train out for private parties, corporate events, weddings, and festivals.

  • Amusement Parks & Family Entertainment Centers: Add a reliable, low-maintenance attraction that keeps riders coming back.

  • Community & Municipal Events: Parades, city festivals, and holiday events draw bigger crowds with a charming train ride.

  • Non-Profit & Fundraising Events: Sell ride tickets or offer rides as a donor incentive at charity events.

  • Estates, Resorts & Private Venues: Add a signature guest experience to large properties, resorts, or seasonal attractions.

Select Package Includes:
(1) Locomotive
(1) Coal Tender
(2) Passenger Cars: (1) Blue, (1) Green
