How many riders can use the Purple Surge at the same time?
Two riders can race simultaneously — one per lane. Each lane has a maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs per rider. The dual-lane design significantly increases throughput at busy events compared to a single-lane slide.
Can the Purple Surge be used both wet and dry?
Yes. The Purple Surge is fully wet and dry capable. Connect a garden hose for wet mode during summer events, or run it dry for school carnivals, church festivals, and all-season rentals. No modifications required to switch between modes.
Is a tarp included with the Purple Surge?
A tarp is not included but is strongly recommended, especially for wet use. A ground tarp protects the bottom of the unit from abrasion and extends its commercial life. We recommend ordering one alongside this unit.
What blower does the Purple Surge require?
One 1.0HP commercial blower is required and included with purchase. Connect it to a dedicated standard 120V circuit. The blower must run continuously to maintain full inflation across both lanes during operation.
Is this slide commercial grade?
Yes. Built with 15oz knife-coated, rip-stop PVC vinyl, triple-stitched seams, and double-layer reinforcement at all high-stress points. It meets ASTM and CPSIA safety standards for commercial inflatable use.
What is the warranty on the Purple Surge?
A one-year limited warranty covers all defects in workmanship including seam failures and fabric tears. Damage from misuse, improper storage, or accidents is not covered. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from Beyond Tent for warranty repairs or replacements.

To help ensure that your units will last, we include a one-year limited warranty on our commercial grade inflatables, ninety (90) Days on residential inflatables.
We will repair all units with issues resulting from defects in workmanship such as seam tears and openings and fabric tears. We will repair all units with such defects at no cost.
Units that have any form of damage resulting from improper or unsafe use, improper storage, accidents, vandalism, etc. are not covered by warranty. Zipper defects are typically not covered under warranty.
